We went abalone diving here in Mendocino County today south of Iverson Cove. Our plan was to get one each for dinner, however while we out Curt told me he had already nabbed two. Thus I gave up since our goal was only for dinner.
The visibility was 4-6 ft. Water a toasty for the North coast 50 &def;F.
You can see pictures from today here. The gauge in the picture is the 9” gauge we both use for sizing abs.
