Paul gave a wonderful presentation to The Sea Divers just last month about his Coastal Monitoring projects. He personally showed me the thermal vents at White Point in Palos Verdes, now in part a nature preserve as described in http://www.pvplc.org/land/white_point/story.htm. A picture by Paul of White Point is shown in http://www.ecotrack.com/1Locatns/WhitePt/areas-e.htm. Paul won the 1997 NAUI Brown Award http://www.naui.org/ethics/Awards1990.html#1997.
