I used to use the Ocean Kayak Scupper Pro & loved every minute of it. I set it up w/ a rudder, & depth finder. It has a HUGE forward dry hatch for gear & it is long for good tracking & low drag.
We used to paddle from La Jolla Shores north past Scripps Pier and dive Scripps Canyon, as it was easier than the hike. A group of us used to even paddle out to wreck alley and dive the Ruby-E!! A guy even mounted a small trolling motor to his! It worked AWESOME & it was a clean looking modification.
It was great fun!!
