Cottage 43 at the Heritage House
is called "Same time next year"
after the movie.
Both cottage 43 and the adjact one were used in the filming.
There is a line in movie were Alan Alda sees a water mark on the bed side table that was left from an earlier visit. Sure enough it is still there today.
The beach to the south is "dark gulch" and has a small public access not noticed by most passers by. However the locals are quite familiar with it. In fact Dark Gulch Cove has some dark history http://www.coastnews.com/ch17.htm
Watch out for ghosts.
There was even a poaching ring caught here a few years back.
Dark Gulch just is just a short swim to the north from the beach access.
