It is a beautiful picture !

You can compensate for hot pixels by taking a second image with the same exposure, leaving the lenscap on. Then you invert (negative) the second picture and add it to the first. We use that technique in planetary space craft and there are some software packages that do it automatically (Photoshop ?).

The above technique won't cure random noise, just hot pixels and other "defects".
