I have looked and haven't seen a whole lot written about the aftermath of DCS.
I have been told that once "hit", more likely to be "hit" again in the future. I wonder if once you experience DCS - get through the denial and receive treatment - if the reason there is statistical evidence that it is more likely to happen again is because if you are less likely to use denial the second time and are more likely to get treatment. I always wonder how many people get DCS and don't realize it.
