You do not know this man's wife, neither do I. I will tell you about mine. She is a non-diver, English is a second language for her. Often she will say "no" instead of "yes", when she is stressed. She also speaks three other languages and has a master's degree in education. Not a stupid woman.
If you are so close to this boat to have a verbal conversation with this woman. Then the dive boat had already disregarded their dive flag. If they had one. Did they? What the dive boat did was not against the law. Just poor manners, but it appears everyone in this scenerio had poor manners except the diver's daughter and the fisherman.
No excuse for having a loaded spear gun in a crowd of swimmers/divers ;-(
