No less than FIVE times over the years the Sand Dollar has caused me to up anchor and move out of the comfortable anchorage of Fishhook, SCI.

there i was in blissful solitude...

then along came the SD..

they would anchor within 30-40 yards..

little did they know(or so i think...) that their generator noise and EXHAUST would choke me out.

Not only that, their deck lights are a constant annoyance.

not to mention the people peering down at me....

never said a word..

just quietly pulled up stakes and left in the blustery evening wind and seas...

hey, it is a big ocean out there! (and it belongs to us all, equally...)

so.... the SD got the anchorage to themselves every time they showed up...

me?

i'm used to hardship on the water, just prefer that it be at the hands of nature~
