Agreed. I don't care if he broke every single rule in the book and deliberately TRIED to get left behind, the bottom line is that he GOT LEFT BEHIND. If the DM/crew had done what they are SUPPOSED to do, he wouldn't have been left behind. Period. THEY screwed up.
