Interesting story, I was bent last month while diving in the philippines, and in some sense I had a similar experience.. "your are not bent, you had a stroke"... etc. I have not returned to the water, scheduled for next weekend (30 day lay-off). BUt I wanted to say I've had a lot of the same thoughts about returning to the water.
The only thing I did on my dive (which was something like #590) was I moved quickly from 120 to 75, about a minute or so... but did extra time on the safety stop. Maybe we trusted our computers too much.
