Interesting. My Oceanic computers have always
credited me for the ascent. They have a nice
"saturation meter", and it starts unwinding as I
ascend slowly. If I leave 105' at the top of the
green zone, it will be noticably further into the
green after each stop.
There's a we don't know about DCS. I have friend
who got a hit, and when you look at the profile
you say "NO WAY!". But it cleared under
recompression.
