Besides, there are things that can make me nervous in the water, but they only occur on the North Coast and usually are not when you are in deeper water. Sea life never scares me. Only waves and currents can do that.
Frankly, I think the best way to have a good idea of what the pony bottle will do for you is to test it yourself in the water. Calculation can be usefully augmented by testing and practice. You can also get a feel for what it's like when the pony is running out.
