My neighbor in the San Francisco Bay must of been doing something illegal. He moved out about a year before I went there so it was an abandoned house, but he had craes full of giant abalone shells with 10 to 12 inch diamteres and still very shiny. we always used to go into his yard and collect them and use them to decorate the forts we built in his yard. I think he moved back into his house, and there is always a constant supply of abalone shells. I hope he isn't breaking the law.
