Thank you for the nice comments~

I happened to see Ray on the way out Wednesday morning. As i came down the west end of Catalina Saturday, i saw the Sundiver heading west. I was going to swing in to say hello, but i figured he had a charter and his passengers wanted to get to the next destination so i gave a big wave, i hope that he saw me.

Minke whales are found worldwide except for the poles. I have seen them several times over the years. You will know it is a minke by the double blowholes and because they are usually moving out like a greyhound. For some reason they like to move very fast, almost like a dolphin

I don't understand why that seal was so atracted to (me). It was an adolescent rather than a juvinile and it was obviously in good health, well fed and uninjured in any discernable way. Playful, lonely, i don't know...
