I've been diving for 14 years and fishing for 40 years. The rockcod fishing out of Morro Bay and PSL has gotten better and better since some of the nearshore long lines and other commercial fishing was banned or restricted. I'm seeing more and bigger fish. Often catching and releasing 40 or more lingcod in a few hours with a couple of buddies. Once they take away our access we'll never get it back.
