Shark repellant, flares, or whistles don't accomplish anything, although DiveAlert works like a charm indeed. If you ever want to scare the hell out of someone, just press the button and watch them jump out of their skin. And you can truly hear it a long, long, long way off.
Poor drifting Dan. I am still curious to know who the asssholes were who were assigned to be his buddies on that fateful dive. Nobody has fessed up yet, neither on this board, nor on the other s*$#-bird board that parallels this one.
