Looking to enhance your diving experience while making a contribution to protect our underwater resources? Reef Check, the world’s largest coral reef monitoring program, has the answer for you. On October 1st, Reef Check will be offering an exciting Introduction to Coral Reef Monitoring Workshop at UCLA headquarters. The Workshop introduces participants to underwater monitoring techniques, coral reef fish and shellfish identification, and hands-on, land-based. Led by Executive Director Dr. Gregor Hodgson, Reef Check scientists will help you take the first steps towards joining Reef Check teams in over 60 countries in protecting our ocean resources.

This 4 hour program is only $100 and includes: a DVD training video, CD ID kit, the Global Coral Reef Crisis report and the Reef Check Instruction Manual.
