Dove the pinnacles off Point Dume in Malibu in this morning. Not much current, but not much vis either. 15' most of the dive. The water was warm too.

Saw some scrabbled egg, and spanish shawl nudi's, two 2.5' horn sharks, lobsters, a big male sheephead, several legal barred sandbass, a 12" cabezon, all the other usuals, and a Visa Gold card all while circumnavigating the pinacles.

We did the swim back under water and found a few cool critters along the way. One of my buddies pulled a really cool looking crab out of the sand to show me. I don't know what it was but it resembled a lobster a little bit. We also came across a 3' guitarfish hiding in the sand dollar beds. At the end we recovered somebodys lost Sprite can, tucked it in my pocket, and made an easy exit. BT was about 45 min.

Unfortunately, the Visa card was expired in '99 and I never found the owner of the Sprite can either. Anyway, it was a beautiful morning for a dive and I saw divers everywhere on the drive home.
