Yesterday on the Great Escape/Evil Empire charter, backside Catalina, heading back to the boat at Eagle Rock Reef. Buddies above me, I look down, see two leopard sharks.... not scooting away like they usually do. Wave to my buddies but they're already going up to the boat.

Drop down to 50 fsw or so, looks like they got a fish, attracting all the other scavenger types, sheephead, garibaldi, Turns out it was a mackerel the crew had tossed overboard.....

Boat was in 50 fsw. Ending a 60+ minute dive and having 500 psi left, I didn't have much time to linger, but I dropped down near the fish and let the leopard get comfortable with me there.....
