http_referer which is generated by your web browser is required to view Roger's pictures. It is a method that keeps thoose with limited computer savy from copying the pictures. However some web browsers (Opera for example) do not generate http_referer, and it is also blocked by some internet proxies such as AOL. Thus often people with AOL on their machines or behind other proxies can not view them. The same problem exists for Paulette's pictures on this web site.
The http_referer scheme also keeps you from linking to the pictures from another web site. That is why the pictures do not show up in your post Phil.
