The Channel Islands Dive Club meets Oct 20 and Nov 17 at Pirates Grub 'n Grog. About 130 members - most of them show up at the meetings. They pretty much fill the Covenant 6-pack or 1/2 the Peace, and also do beach dives, campouts, BBQ's, some www (warm water wimp) trips and etc.
For the most part the Covenant gets back early in the afternoon. They provide all tanks, air/nitrox filled, or rebreather fills.
You get a free air card with CID membership for 10 fills, plus a 10% discount at all local dive shops for most items.
Most of all we have FUN!
The Grub 'n Grog is on the corner of 5th and Victoria in Oxnard.
