Those guys tend to get a little hysterical about any perceived threat to their sport. I remember in the debates prior to the CH closures, their radio talk show hosts were putting forth outrageous claims like "you won't be able to walk on the beach with your children if the reserves are put into place" or "the reserves will put every halfday boat on the coast out of business"
Here we are a couple of years after implimentation and rhetoric in no way matched the inconvenience of the no take reserves. So i would take this latest skyisfalling prediction with a grain of salt as well....
