Best conditions I've had locally was at the Olympic one day. The water temp was 70F at the surface and 69 at depth. My buddies got in the water first and said they could already see the wreck from the surface. I could see my swimstep from the deck of the Olympic. The next day, Dive 'n Surf chartered the Westerly to the wreck. Someone got a great shot of an eight foot GW between the wreck and the Westerly.
