Hey Mike
Try grinding 2 rocks together. It simulates the sound of sheepshead feeding on urchins. Tends to bring the big males out of their holes for a look see.
Banging rocks together brings out garibaldi. They're as curious as a cat and protected and seem to know it.
A bag of frozen peas is the dinner bell that will bring everyone to the table.
And don't forget to look behind you. Last time I dove old Marineland I thought I was in the desert til I looked behind me and there was every fish on the reef! I swear its a game they play like ding dong fish or hide and go fish.
Was going to try chicken on a string to lure bugs out of their holes.
