Most was dark green, 'forest' maybe... Some of the small pieces were lighter, almost a blueish... Some had 'inclusions'(sp?), of other stuff. As you can tell, I'm not up on my rocks... ;) My Divebuddy drilled one for a necklace and he said it took all night and 7 bits to make a small hole. He started filing on another piece and gaveup about half way through. With your exp. you may have a much easier time of it. Check around on the web, there's a guy who has pulled out Bolders of jade from there, I think the big one was 9000Lbs, yep 4.5 Tons! Took him Years to get it out. There are special laws about how the Jade can be collected. No power tools...
