I have probably dove it 20 times....the visibility always sucked......between diving the Star of Scotland first dive, then the SM breakwater the second, I would usualyl end up with a halibut. Never saaw any lobster though at the breakwater.
Beware, every other dive I would run into a torpedo ray, not literally......but if I were not always paying attention, it is really easy to bump into them as the visibilty sucks.
The halibut are hard to spot as you are up on them so quick without seeing them much in advance.
I am not sure why anyone would dive such lousy places....I did 20 years ago as it was free.....now I am not so cheap......besides, the idea of eating anything from the SM bay makes me want to hurl.....
