The Chinese (Mainland) found they had a problem with factory managers blatantly skimming from the finances of various companies - the solution was elegantly simple and effective: The guilty managers, one from each company was hauled out of the factory, and in front of the company workers and remaining managers, were shot. No more skimming, and efficiency in making those McDonald's Happy Meal toys went way up. Now I love America, and no one is stronger on democracy, but I do appreciate simple, effective solutions. The Enron execs are financial despoilers, the poachers are environmental despoilers - I think they'd both make excellent examples. Plus, I'd bet if you sold tickets, you could probably lower the budget deficit, fund abalone aquaculture project or two, or pay back some of the Enron employees...
