Chris, great photographs! Between you and Elaine I am getting bit by the underwater photo bug.
I am torn between getting a water proof housing for my Nikon N90. Or take the plunge and go for a under water digital. Considering the price for a underwater housing and strobe for my Nikon. I am leaning towards digital. I know nothing about underwater digital cameras or camera housings. I know one thing at least for me - keep it simple.
I also found it interesting. That 90% of the divers on this trip did not use BC's.
