Hey Jeff,
I was coming off the same trip with Chris, sounds like you guys did better on the bugs than we did. Hey let me tell you a little something that Steve {aka Magellan} failed to mention. On one of the dives at Santa Barbara Is., he too had to have the chase boat come and get him due to a strong current and he was way out to starboard {100-150 yards} hence the moniker 'Magellan'. I had actually had a bit of a swim on that dive as well, Down to 800psi popped up to get a look at things and found myself 200+ yards downhill in a rippen current. I must have swam for 20 mins. before I made the line {even had to use my arms to amke way} Your right about the lesson learned. You are also right about the Peace, there is no better crew or boat, always a great time, spots and the food, well, you know allready.

Have fun, Richard
