PV is awesome for bugs. Greg and I hunted lobsters at PV
once again and per Capt Tim's advice on dive spot 1, we
did quite well.
First stop was at the Avalon wreck. Lot's of bugs and each
of good quality. Took 5 there with the largest being 4 lbs
10 oz. Greg took 3.
Next stop was between Dominator Point and Xmas Tree Cove.
It was a spot about 150 yds off the 'beach'. I filled my
limit and Greg got two more, for 5.
These Santa Anna winds really do make the shore area diving
the best.
You all really need to consider diving the entire PV area
more often from a boat. It just makes things much easier
and more productive if you are hunting wiley critters.
