When she first was sunk, I had my boat in a slip in San Diego. We used to dive the Yukon every few weeks, until the excitement wore off. I was dissapointed with the poor vis and nasty surge. I kept thinking how nice it would be to have the boat sunk in a place like Palos Verdes or Catalina where the surge woudl have been lessened and the vis better.

Anyway, the moorings are first come first serve. The charter boats really do hog them and hang onto them longer than is reasonable. It was really funny to me how many divers would come up the wrong mooring line and look so shocked to see my boat instead of a commercial dive boat.
