Since the 70's and climbing 7% per year. I doubt if the number of Great White Shark has climbed at a equal rate.

The over population of seals and sea lions. Is caused directly by human intervention. Going from one extreme to the other. Up North they use to beat baby seals in the head to kill them for their fur. Now we have bleeding hearts feeding hungry seals. When mother nature sends in a storm to clean up the over population mess. Both extreme groups have a negative impact on the balance of nature.
