I have worked with teens on and off for many years.
Some of them really Effed up.
In nearly every situation they came from a bad not sober single parent household.
Usually they just get bad grades. Some situations like this overlap and their sociopath behavior strengthens each others poor choices.
Can't you imagine each kid trying to best each other after hurting the first animal while doing a Beavis & Butthead impression.
There were some hoodlum dolphin males in Australia who had this relationship too. They would drowned adolescents and attack females.
But I doubt that their parents were crack addicts :-)
