It was a great day for photography at the Oil Rigs. One of the best that I've seen.

It is a 20mm Nikor in a S&S Compact Dome Port. The biggest issue that I have with the dome port is that at wide apertures it falls very short on corner to corner sharpness. It does pretty well at f8 and above.

The strobes are two S&S YS120's. They are great strobes for most things. The limitation that I find with them is that they only have one manual power setting, 1/2 power. With subjects such as reflective schools of fish anything more than a touch of flash burns them out. Something like 1/16th power would consistently do a better job with schooling fish photography. With the YS120's I have to alter the EV on the camera a stop of two or place the strobes so that they are a good distance behind the lens to try and increase the strobe to subject distance.
