Catalina Cylinders (for quite some time)have been supporting all tanks be maintained oxygen cleaned if used for enriched air service regardless of the method to make it.. Thermo vales also follows this position.
The "osha" rule had very specific implications and for COMMERCIAL divers only, but in general they supported cga standards not this mythical 40% rule...
Hopefully the rest of the industry will get off their butts and do it the right way.. I'm glad more companies are stepping up to the plate.. ANY operator who violates manufacturer standards is risking thier insurance coverage..
