It's fun trying to figure out these pictures, isn't it!

As I posted on another board, the fish is a coralline sculpin. There is no sponge on the fish, the coralline sculpin mimics a sponge for camouflage. The small holes that look like osculum are its lateral line pores. Pretty cool, huh!

I also confirmed the id with the collections manager of ichthyology at the Natural History Museum.
