The site http://www.ctaz.com/~bwana/havasu.htm boasts some pretty interesting sites to dive, including a P-47 Thunderbolt, a saloon, two-story hotel, underwater petroglyphs, underwater city, a vertical mine shaft—complete with locations (no numbers, just line-ups). Granted, the visibility is poor (according to the site, the current at the northern end of the lake can reach 22 knots).

The proprietor, Dave Holt, claims to have dived the P-47 some two to three years ago and describes it as being intact. A map showing the locations of the sites is available at the Aquastrophics dive shop in Lake Havasu.

I have spoken to two divers that have searched for some of these sites and found nothing (their opinions about the authenticity of the information is reserved for now). Has anyone personally visited any of these sites?

BTW, Aquastrophics is for sale--$100k.

Steve
