Yes Max, just one of several errors in the book, but probably the most obvious. Actually, Bonnie wrote the AVALON section, but since I was supposed to fact check, it does land in my lap. I believe the AVALON went down 9/64, with the DOMINATOR having gone aground 3/61. I'm wingin' it on the dates, but I thinke that's right.

As for another book on Cal shipwrecks, I'm waiting for Bonnie to acknowledge my use of my material in Shipwrecks of Southern Caifornia. It was a jointly held copyright on the book, so she has to approve my use of my writing, and I'd have to agree to her use of her material should she want to use any of her stuff. As soon as I hear from her I can move ahead with the project. Her response is slow in coming - maybe she was traveling over the holiday.
