Several years ago, they dumped the dredged sand from Marina del Rey onto the beach at Veteran's Park. It was a mess for a long, long time. The dredged material was black, very silty, and stinky. The volume of material this time is about one-fourth of what they dumped last time. I haven't seen the EIR.
