Yes, it will be pumped onto the beach. Yes, it will be black and stinky. Yes, it will silt out the canyon and make diving rather unpleasant for a while. The last time, when they moved the Marina del Rey silt to Redondo, Dive n' Surf stopped doing OW dives at Veterans' Park for a couple of years.
