I thought you enjoyed not relying on a buddy? Are you saying that you would give up "solo con dios" if you had a dive buddy of a similar age?
I know lots of people who won't dive with others based on the divers style, equipment, attitude, or training, but I've never met anyone who practices dive buddy senior discrimination?!?
I, for one, would much rather dive with a geezer that's been in the water since I was still 23 chromosomes than one of the 10-13 y/o young'uns seem to be coming on the scene these days.
That said, the best place on our planet to find a group of people with a similar obscure interest is the www. I think that Scubaboard has the largest crowd these days so maybe you could post something there.
