Did three dives at Anacapa today off the Explorer. We lost an hour at the beginning of the dive day trying to find a good spot that was not already taken and finally settled on Little Goldfish Bowl. Visability was at least 40' all day. The water was cold (one of these days I'm going to get something that tells the temp). Nice dive but nothing spectacular to report there, except one very unconcerned Electric Ray.

Next we got to dive in the Pelican rookery. A sea-lion buzzed the dive site throughout the dive, and a few lobsters made it back to the boat. It was pretty nice but I would have like to have gotten in another dive there.

Naturally the best conditions (no wind, or swell) were on the way home, but it was still a pretty good day for December.
