3 of us tried to dive the Fog Wreck today. Vis up top was reasonable but it quickly dropped to 2 ft below 90'. We aborted and headed a few miles over the the Ace One to see if it was any better. We got our answer at about 90' again.
It was a beautiful afternoon for a boat ride and we made it back
under our own power so it was a great day! (3 hours and counting on sterndrive rebuild #2)
We found the same murky layer last Saturday at about 90' out on the flats.
Do you think the long period swell that we've been having has screwed up the vis out on the mud flats or it some other phenomena?
