What: the first meeting of the MLPA Science Advisory Team
When: Friday, January 7, 2005
10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Where: Elihu Harris State Building

Oakland, California
Who: the members of the science team will be confirmed and announced
shortly.
The public is welcome to attend and observe the work of the science team.
Preliminary agenda:
* The Science Team charge
* Criteria for selecting the central coast project area
* Master plan framework table of contents
* Introduction to proposed requirements for MPA network proposals
* Update on contracts for scientific information gathering
* Long-term research needs and strategies
* Schedule of future meetings
This meeting will be videotaped for later viewing and listening over the
Internet.
