Have had no problems with TSA (apart from the usual tripping of the metal detector by the steel in my femur). Just arrive in enough time to allow clearance and follow the guidelines of the post. I also had no problems with my double locked Pelican cases - they just run them thru the industrial-strengh x-ray these days.

Be aware that on flights to Mexico, Mexican authorities ask that you keep batteries out of your flashlights, even in checked luggage. Also, no knives are allowed (even in checked).
