If you've been watching the scenes of devastation unfolding in Southeast Asia, you may be wondering by now if there's anything you can do to help. Unfortunately, the United States government has so far only committed 15 million dollars to the relief efforts, so it looks like private donations will be needed from around the world to provide the billions needed for relief and reconstruction. The following is a list of charitable organizations that appeared in today's LA Times. I know most of us are tapped out because of the holidays, but I'm sure any donation, no matter how small, will be appreciated.
Thank you.
