Thought I'd Share a Monterey dive site.

Whalers Cove in Point Lobos State park. You must make reservations and pay a small fee to dive there, but it is worth trip. The park is a "No Take" zone so there are pleanty of BIG FISH here to look at and to look at you. Even had a otter come by for a visit. Plenty of kelp to poke through and a nice wall that is shallow and plenty of critters to check out. Vis is great in places. Highlight of the day was either the otter or couple of big Monkey Faced Eels.

Parking lot at the cove is dirt but there are bathrooms and a hose for rinsing gear.
