One of my friends was in Thailand when the tsunami happened also. She was in her beachfront hotel room, and she heard everyone screaming below her so ran downstairs and then everyone told her to go up and she went to the roof and saw everyone getting washed away includinng dogs and cats. Her dad didn't know what was happening and was downstairs at the time but made it up.
