Department of Fish and Game Director Ryan Broddrick has appointed Dr. Stephen Barrager as the chair for the MLPA Master Plan Science Advisory Team.
Dr. Barrager is presently a member of the Pacific Fishery Management Council's Groundfish Advisory Panel and a researcher at the Stanford University Fisheries Policy Project. He has a strong background in organizational decision making, decision analysis, and professional decision consulting.
As the chair of the Science Team, Dr. Barrager will help ensure that the team has productive dialogue, stays on track, and provides timely response. He will help coordinate meetings and between-meeting discussions to make the process flow more smoothly.
