This is very, very interesting, and disturbing.
Just read the post about Mr. Dan and his view of the diving community.
Once again Msblucow is sticking her noise in places it does not belong. Perhaps Seahunt was right about her all along.
Mr. Dan in his letter on item # 3 states he is the only diving vessel in SoCal to try and get a Solas license so he can go to Mexico. That is an outright lie, but in Dan’s defense he may be just to stupid or arrogant to know this. For the record, the “Horizon, Ocean Odessa, Sand Dollar, and Bottom Scratcher” all have a solas routes.
#6. Is a reason that everyone should boycott “California Diving News”. The skiff was over loaded in a storm and had it not been for a local “6 pack” captain the operator of that skiff would surly be dead. When the captain found him he had been in the water for over 45 min. and could not even speak he was so cold. The only mistake the captain made was not to contact the CG, who never knew about this. If they had Mr. Dan would have lost his license and more. Dale Sheckler down played the entire event. I my eyes that makes him worse than Dan.
At least Mr. Dan is gone before someone died.
